PRICES
All prices are in Pounds
Sterling (£). Sales tax (VAT ) is included where applicable: Books, antique
maps and townplans are zero rated (0% VAT), decorative prints and similar items are standard
rated (17.5% VAT). VAT will be deducted for all exports outside the European
Union, and for European Union customers registered for sales tax, who can
provide their valid VAT/TVA/UST number. Postage and insurance is extra.
TERMS
All items are being offered subject to prior sale and remain our property until payment has been received in full. Goods are being despatched immediately after receipt of payment. Items may be reserved and ordered by phone, but we would appreciate confirmation in writing (e-mail). If a buyer is not satisfied for whatever reason he may return the item for a full refund of the purchase price, provided it is sent back within eight days at the expense of the buyer in the same condition as received, properly packed and insured.
CONDITION
All items are guaranteed genuine originals, published/printed around the time specified. We do not sell reproductions. A Certificate of Authenticity and Antiquity is being issued on request. Each item is in good condition unless otherwise described, allowing for the usual minor imperfections of early material. Care has been taken in noting serious flaws.
SIZES
All map and graphic
measurements are given for images in centimetres (cm), height first, excluding margins.
10cm = 4 inches (approx).
COLOURING
All maps and prints are black & white (uncoloured) unless otherwise stated. Colouring is by hand at about the time of publication (original or contemporary colour), except where noted (recent colour).
